Gila Temple was made as an exercise is creativity using a small set of art assets. This level was made using only assets from the built-in UDK foliage demo. The skull monument statues serve as teleporters between the top and bottom floors. I also wanted to make a map that could change up the gameplay in the middle of a match. At random intervals a Kismet sequence will cause the entire bottom floor to flood. Players that get caught underwater will start drowning slowly. However, there is a powerup that rises out of the well when the water rises so players may want to risk drowning to obtain it. Gila Temple is a small level that has cramped corridors that keep players moving and there are many paths between the two floors.
